Erica: Is it true that they send a bus around to pick up girls who want to party with the next Fed chairman? 
次期FRB議長のパーティに参加したい女の子たちのために、ファイナルクラブがお迎え用のバスを出すって本当？

Mark: So you can see why it's so important to get in. 
（ファイナルクラブに）入ることがいかに重要かわかったみたいだね。

Erica: Okay, well, which is the easiest to get into? 
で、一番入りやすいのはどれ？

Mark: Why would you ask me that? 
なんで僕に聞くの？

Erica: I was just asking. 
聞いてるだけよ。

Mark: None of them. That's the point. My friend Eduardo made $300,000 betting oil futures one summer, and Eduardo won't come close to getting in. The ability to make money doesn't impress anybody around here. 
入りやすいのなんてないよ。僕が言ってるのはそこなんだ。友達のエドアルドは石油先物でひと夏で３０万ドルもうけたのに足元にもおよばなかったんだ。そこでは金儲けの才能なんてどうでもいいことなのさ。


ERICA: Must be nice. He made $300,000 in a summer?
すごいわね。ひと夏で３０万ドルも？

MARK: He likes meteorology.

ERICA: You said it was oil futures.
石油先物って言ったよね

MARK: You can read the weather you can predict the price of heating oil. I think you asked me that because you think the final club that’s easiest to get into is that's the one where I’ll have the best chance.
天気を読めればヒーターに使う油の価格が予想できる。君がその質問をしたのは、（一般に）一番入りやすそうなファイナルクラブが僕にとっても一番入りやすいファイナルクラブになるだろうと君が思ったからだよね。

ERICA: I, --- what?
え、はあ？

MARK: You asked me which one was the easiest to get into because you think that’s the one where I’ll have the best chance.
君は一番入りやすいのはどれかってたずねた。なぜならそれが僕にとって一番入りやすいクラブと君はおもったからだ

ERICA: The one that’s the easiest to get into would be the one where anybody has the best chance.
一番入りやすいクラブは誰にとっても一番入りやすいじゃない

MARK: You didn’t ask me which one was the best one, you asked me which one was the easiest one.
君はどれが一番いいのかたずねなかった。一番簡単なのはどれかってたずねたんだ。
